Heavy machinery and foot traffic are often required for custom installations, but we take site protection very seriously. We use plywood paths for heavy equipment to minimize soil compaction and turf damage. We also clean up the job site at the end of every workday to ensure your property remains as tidy and safe as possible throughout the project.

Do I need to have a design ready, or do you provide design services?

We offer comprehensive design-build services! You don’t need to hire a separate landscape architect. We work directly with you to conceptualize the design, select the right plants and materials for your climate and soil, and create a detailed plan before any dirt is moved. If you already have a design from an architect, we are fully equipped to execute it.

How much does a custom landscaping project typically cost?

Because every project is completely customized to the client’s property and preferences, costs can vary significantly. Factors that influence the price include the size of the area, the materials chosen (e.g., natural stone vs. concrete pavers), the maturity and types of plants, and the complexity of features like irrigation or custom masonry. At what stage of the construction process should we schedule the landscaping installation?

We ideally schedule the installation immediately after the final exterior grading, flatwork (driveways, walkways, patios), and exterior painting are completely finished, but before the final Certificate of Occupancy (CO) inspection. Bringing us in too early risks damage to the landscape from heavy equipment or other trades.

How much lead time do you need to schedule an installation?

For standardized builder packages, we request a minimum of 1 to 2 weeks’ notice before the target installation date. This allows us to secure the specific plant materials, coordinate irrigation scheduling, and allocate our crews efficiently across your job sites.

Do you handle final grading?

Your excavation contractor should establish the rough grade and ensure proper drainage away from the foundation. We take over from there to handle the final fine grading, debris removal (rocks, concrete chunks), and soil preparation prior to planting and sodding.

Can you design landscape packages that meet specific HOA or municipal code requirements?

Absolutely. We have extensive experience navigating architectural guidelines, community master plans, and city ordinances. We ensure that your landscape packages meet all minimum plant counts, specific tree caliper requirements, and drought-tolerant/native species mandates to guarantee a smooth inspection process.

Do you install irrigation systems?

Yes, we have dedicated crews specifically trained for the fast pace of new-construction tracts. We offer tiered builder pricing based on annual volume. We also work with you to develop 3 to 5 standardized, repeatable landscape packages (e.g., Basic, Upgraded, Premium) to keep your costs predictable and our installations highly efficient.
